About the event
ALPHA PETULAY was born in Congo and raised in Brazil. She began to compose at the age of ten. It was in Brazil that his musical career began. She was twenty when she self-produced her first album "Delight Tribal" (2001) surrounded by Brazilian musicians. The album is wonderfully received and opens the door to many festivals such as Recbeat or Recife Rock.
She also signs a contract with the city of Recife (North-East of Brazil) to perform during the carnival periods. She was quickly noticed by the director Caio Blat who entrusted her with the musical direction of the play.

Alpha Petulay arrived in France in 2006. She opened for Susheela Raman in 2008. In 2009, she produced "Ni shye project" and collaborated the following year at the Biennale de la Danse de Lyon as a lyricist and performer in Les Mélodies
