Pia Salvia

Multi-award-winning Belgian harpist, vocalist, and composer Pia Salvia creates a genre-defying sound that places the harp at the center of contemporary music. Blending jazz, pop, and global influences, she transforms the harp into a rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic force while weaving in her expressive voice, original compositions, and deeply personal storytelling.
A summa cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, Pia has built an international career shaped by the diverse cultures and musical traditions she has encountered throughout her life. Her music combines virtuosic musicianship with an innovative approach to the harp, resulting in a sound that is sophisticated, distinctive, and immediately accessible.
Pia has performed at renowned venues and festivals including the Hollywood Bowl, Salle Pleyel, Festival Mundial del Arpa, Vancouver Island Music Fest, Boston Harp Festival, and Gaume Jazz Festival. She has also shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Chante Moore, Aloe Blacc, Lizz Wright, Alex Isley, André Manoukian, and Kings Return.
Living between Brussels and Los Angeles, Pia brings a compelling live presence and a fresh perspective to the harp, using the instrument as a driving rhythmic force, a lush harmonic voice, and a vehicle for improvisation. Her performances connect jazz, pop, and global music through a contemporary artistic language that is both unexpected and deeply human.
Pia’s upcoming album, May 7, is scheduled for release in May 2027 and marks the next chapter in her evolving sound and international artistic vision.
